Kia ora koutou e te whānau,
Thank you to everyone who was able to join with us on Tuesday evening as we celebrated our year together and farewelled our Year 6 graduates. The speeches, prayers, singing and the retelling of the Nativity were all so beautiful and the children made us proud once again.
Yesterday the Year 6s enjoyed their own special celebration day; they wore non-uniform, had a fun day and enjoyed a special lunch together. I have loved watching this group of children grow and thrive over the past years and yesterday was another example of what a fantastic group of childen they are. As I said on Tuesday night, St Theresa’s will always be part of who you are; your Turangawaewae – your place to stand.
Thank you for another fantastic year. I wish you all a very happy and holy Christmas. Travel safely if you are going away and enjoy your precious time with family and friends.

Gospel Reflection - Sunday, 17th December, 2023
Third Sunday of Advent
John 1:6-8,19-28
In this Sunday’s Gospel, John the Baptist said that he was not the Messiah or Elijah or the Prophet but that he was baptizing people in preparation for Jesus who was among them but not yet recognised. The people going to see John believed him; he was a credible and trustworthy witness. As we prepare for Christmas, we ask that we will continue to grow in our faith and to recognise Jesus in all aspects of our lives.
Sparks of God - Term 4, Week 9
Our final bunch of amazing, SPARKling SPARKS OF GOD for this year. It's great to see that the children are still giving their best.
