Tomorrow is Pink Shirt Day. The children are encouraged to wear something pink with their school uniform and bring a gold coin donation to support the Mental Health Foundation.

Although it now seems a while back, our March Madness Fair was a huge success and the final total raised after all expenses was $30,069.00. Thanks once again to all those involved in co-ordinating this awesome day.
The Mother's Day Raffle was another great success and we were able to raise $3344 which is all profit as the prizes are all donated. Thanks again to Libby Baker for co-ordinating this.
On Tuesday, we all learned of the fire at Loafers' Lodge in Newtown. Many people have lost their homes and possessions and most tragically some have lost their lives. Our thoughts and prayers go to the residents and the whanau of the deceased. If you are able to support those people affected by this tragedy, please consider donating to the Wellington City Mission using this link:

Have a great weekend.

Gospel Reflection - Sunday, 21st May
The Ascension of the Lord
Matthew 28:16-20
This Sunday, we celebrate the Ascension of Jesus into Heaven. In the Gospel reading, Jesus commands His disciples to go out and make disciples of all nations and He promises to always be with them. We are called through this celebration and this Gospel, to reflect on how we are being disciples of Jesus in our own lives. We remember the task that Jesus has given us; to share Jesus' message and to be comforted by the fact that He will continue to be by our side.
Room 1 are amazing artists.
For Mother’s Day, we created some gorgeous art for our mums. We drew pictures of our families to show how precious our mums are to us and our families.
We love you mum!
A very warm welcome to the Whittingham family
This week, Lauren Whittingham started school in Room 2. We welcome her and her parents, Ben and Sarah and wish them many happy years as part of our St. T's school community.
PINK SHIRT DAY - TOMORROW (Friday, 19th May)
On Friday, 19 May 2023, Aotearoa will become a sea of pink as schools, workplaces and communities join the Pink Shirt Day movement. By taking part you will be helping to stamp out bullying by celebrating diversity and promoting kindness and inclusion.

Children can wear something pink with their uniform and bring a donation to support this initiative.
St T’s Angels vs NPS Whataitai, 21 - 2 for the win! A fantastic game played by all. It was hard to choose our Player of the Day so we had two this week - Hannah Murphy for her unwavering presence on the court and hunger for the ball and Izzy Cato for outstanding shooting and movement in the circle. Magic Moment went to Mila Robinson for continually being available to receive the ball. Well done team!!
St. Ts Saints vs Papakowhai Dazzlers
Score: 8-1
PoD: Iris Gair for excellent all around netball.
Magic Moment: Brooke Barber for an excellent intercept and the best pass of the game.
