Kia ora koutou e te whānau,
What a fantastic day we had on Saturday for our March Madness Fair. The weather was kind and we had a huge turnout from the community to support us. After several years of lockdowns and very limited opportunities to get together as a community, it was so wonderful to see the huge smiles, fun and laughter that the fair brought with it.
As we all know, an event of this size can't be held without the generosity of our many sponsors and we are very grateful to them all.
These events are also impossible without people power and our thanks go out to all of you who helped in so many ways. A special thanks to Shona Hockings, Barbara Murphy and Mel Adams for co-ordinating all the stalls, teams and behind the scenes work that made the day so successful.
Have a great weekend.
Nga mihi,
Donna McDonald - Principal

In Room 7 we learnt about Wacky Shoe Day. We then drew some outlines of our shoes and did all of the patterns and lines and even the stitching.
We have also been learning how our families are all unique. We drew a picture of our own family and then painted it with watercolours. We love that all our families are different and unique because God made us that way.

A very warm welcome to a new school family
This week, Nathan Nishanthan joined the children in Room 1. We wish him and his parents, Sebastiampillai and Nilanthie, many happy years as part of our St. T's school community.
Palm Sunday School/Parish Mass - Sunday, 2nd April
Mass will be followed by a shared morning tea so please bring a small plate to add to the other eats. There is also a sausage sizzle for the children, provided by the Parish and School.
IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT PARKING ON THE DAY: The court will not be available for parking however, the field gate will be open and families may park on the field.
Once again - PLEASE do the right thing!
It has been brought to our attention that people without a permit are parking in the mobility car parks. Apart from this being unacceptable and disappointing, it is also illegal. We ask that you always obey the rules of the road which will be for the benefit everyone. Of course, thank you to those parents who only park in designated car parks and not on yellow lines.
In the interest of finalising all the March Madness Fair finances, if anyone still owes money for items they purchased but didn't pay for at the time, could you please settle these? Payment can be made straight to our school bank account (12 3254 0109325 00). Also, if any stall holders have expense claims yet to be submitted, please do so as soon as possible. The claim form needs to be completed and signed off by Shona Hockings.
Silent Auction - amazing items well worth bidding for!
The organisers have made it so easy to bid on all the items available. You can either scan the QR code or click on the attached link to place your bid. This auction will close on Monday, 3rd April.
Caritas Challenge postponement
Sadly due to the weather, we have needed to postpone the Caritas Challenge. We will attempt to 'Move It' on Tuesday. Thank you very much for your generous donations. If you still wish to donate, you are welcome to send your contribution to the Office before Tuesday.
Return of pool keys by TOMORROW please!
As per the Pool Keyholder Agreement, all pool keys need to be returned to the Office by TOMORROW! It would be greatly appreciated if they all be returned on time so as to avoid the need to follow up on any outstanding keys. Thanks to those families who have already returned theirs and to those who will do this on time.
Olivia Wakefield Photography - Make the most of this opportunity!
Thanks to Olivia of Olivia Wakefield Photography, we are holding a photoshoot fundraiser!
