Remedy for Itchy Jerseys
Found on the internet and it works.
Turn the perpetrator inside out and soak it in cold water and a few tablespoons of white vinegar for 15 minutes, making sure that all the fibers are thoroughly saturated. Drain.
While the sweater is still wet, gently massage a generous amount of hair conditioner into the fibers. Avoid stretching the fibers, and don’t use a cheap hair conditioner, since those usually contain waxes that will cause a weird buildup.
Let the conditioner sit on the sweater fibers for 30 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with cold water. Gently press excess water out of the knit, being careful not to stretch the garment out of shape.
Dry it flat on a towel.
Nga mihi,

Third Sunday of Lent
John 4:5-42
In this Sunday’s Gospel reading, Jesus reveals himself to the Samaritan woman at the well. In the climate of Israel, water is a precious resource, not readily available to everyone. In this Gospel, we find Jesus using the image of water, a resource necessary for survival, to describe Himself. Jesus and the Samaritan woman had a lengthy discussion about water. We are reminded in this reading that we use water for many purposes in Church, a significant one being our Baptism. Lent is a time when we remember what Baptism means. We also try harder to live as followers of Jesus. When we were baptized, we were like the woman at the well: we came to know Jesus, the Living Water and we were sent to invite others to drink from this well that never runs dry.
Fun with Statistics in Rm 8
As part of our Statistics Unit, we investigated the question: What does the tide bring in? We used our local beach, Plimmerton, to explore this question. First, we searched for natural objects on the beach. Then we search for man-made objects. We collected these and took them back to school. We used tally marks to record our collected data and a picture graph to display it. Then we worked in pairs to create a poster so we could share our findings. We wanted everyone to know that we need to stop dropping rubbish because it ends up on our beaches and is harmful to our sea creatures and the environment.
Natural Objects Man-Made Objects
A very warm welcome to Fletcher Deere! He is the brother of Tobias (Rm 6) and the son of Paul and Kate. We wish you many happy years at St. T's and hope that all your memories are wonderful!
