Learning Hub News and Reviews for this week
If you are keen to avoid overdue notices this year then this information is for you!
An Introduction to the Library WebApp
- Do you want to be able to login to your child's school library account from home?
- Has your child ever forgotten what books they have?
- Would it help to see what's currently on loan?
These are just a few queries that can be addressed with the many features of our school library WebApp. You can access the Library WebApp from any device at school or home. There is even a cellphone App if preferred. On the WebApp Homepage you can watch tutorial videos, as a guest, showing you all the features and tools available to you when you login into your account.
A few of the features include:
- View Current loans
- See the cover images
- View your loans history (since your first day of school)
- Renew your own books up to 2 times (no more overdues)
- Write and submit a book review for everyone to read
- Search the catalogue for your next great read or to find fabulous websites
- Reserve a book you like
- Find books and websites for your next inquiry project
and much, much more.
You can get your Borrower number and login details from Mrs. Hunt. I have an instruction sheet to get you started if required, this can be emailed or a hard copy can be collected from the Learning Hub. You can access the WebApp homepage here and watch the tutorial videos.
I recommend bookmarking this page or adding a shortcut to your Google shortcuts so you can always find it with ease.
Watch this space for the all new "Learning Hub News and Reviews" feature in the 2023 newsletter!
