Kia ora St. Theresa's whanau,
What a lot we have packed into a short week! The strangely warm winter weather has been great and a real treat.
The children are still training hard for our school sponsored Fun Run on 2 July at 1.30pm. The children will be encouraged to dress up and walk/run an age appropriate amount of laps of a course designed around the school. We will be sending out a sponsorship form with the children next week.
Next week we will have the Rangiwahia Environmental group in all week making Matariki lanterns with the children. There is also an opportunity for you all to come in and make a lantern on Wednesday, 16th June from 3 - 5p.m. This will be in Room 1, so if you have a spare hour or so, please drop in and have a look.
Yesterday we sent out a survey regarding onsite After School Care. If you think you may require ASC at any stage, please complete the survey so that our needs can be assessed. Here is the link again: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/QJ6PJKS
Thank you to everyone who so generously sent in flowers for our wonderful support staff, for Support Staff Day. They all felt appreciated and loved.
Have a wonderful weekend.
kia pai tō rā whakatā!

Gospel reading for Sunday, 13th June, 2021
The whole school community congratulate William on his award for Most Promising Junior Musician (School years 1 - 5) at the Kapi-Mana Music Festival 2021. What an amazing achievement - keep up the hard work, William.
In Room 6, we are becoming animal experts. We went to the zoo and looked at the animals to learn about them and their enclosures. We picked an animal and created some animal posters using the information that we learnt. Then we made enclosures and learnt how to make some trees for them. We have been working very hard on them.
