Kia ora koutou katoa St Theresa's whanau,
We have now been settled into the Kakano Pod for 4 weeks and it feels so cosy and warm. It has been great to be able to show prospective families, other Principals and members of the community through. We are so proud of the refurbishment and both the staff and children are loving having this space to work in.
We are currently working on numbers for 2022, so if you know of any families with preschool-aged children who are thinking about enrolling, please encourage them to make contact as soon as possible so that they don't miss out.
We have a busy few weeks ahead of us before the term ends. Please keep an eye on the calendar and the newsletter for updates on events such as our Dramatic Inquiry Parent Information Session and Matariki.
We still require equipment for our Matariki hangi. If you have access to any baskets, stones, firewood or railway sleepers please let Gina know.
Our netballers are on a bit of a winning streak and playing really well. We have 3 teams and are very grateful for the parent support we receive to coach and manage these teams. A huge thank you to Trish Fitzsimons who coaches a team and attends Ngati Toa every Saturday during the season to run the competition on behalf of St. Theresa's. We are very fortunate to have Trish so generously donate her time.

The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity
Dramatic Inquiry Parent Evening - Wednesday, 2nd June
After our successful 2020 Dramatic Inquiry Whanau Evening, there has been a call to learn more!
Pentecost
Dear Diary,
Today was a great but weird day. If you're wondering why, I’ll tell you. Me and all my friends went into the church and waited for the Holy Spirit to come. Then a big gust of wind came in. We were shaking in our boots because we were scared and cold. The flames came out and landed on our heads.
I felt powerful like a superhero. Me and my friends ran outside and shouted for the people to gather. We told the people about Jesus's life. The people were confused because we were speaking in other people’s languages. This was the gift that Jesus had told us about.
Netball results for Saturday, 22nd May, 2021

A wee reminder about payment for pizza and/or ice block orders
Although paying online or by Eftpos are both perfectly fine, it does get a bit tricky trying to follow up on these payments if the orders just say 'Paid online' or 'Paid by Eftpos'. If possible, could the transaction be made on the day (or prior) that the order is placed please?
Many thanks in advance!
Roti fundraiser - you won't want to miss this one!
Parents & Friends are taking orders for delicious roti. Please sell to your friends and family too. An order form is attached.
