Kia ora koutou katoa St Theresa's whanau,
On Tuesday I was very proud to accompany 6 of our students, Teddy Green, Gabriella Staniforth, Isabella Beach, Olivia Murphy, Max Gair and Zoe Hosking to the consultation session for the Porirua City Council's Strategic Plan. The children were articulate, interested and had great ideas for their city. We look forward to seeing the draft long term plan.
We celebrated a significant birthday this week for one of our teachers...happy birthday Ms Neave!
Our Parents & Friends group are looking for new members. They are a great group who are planning a range of both fundraising and social events for the year. If you are interested in being on the mailing list and perhaps helping with one or more of the activities planned, please let Gina know and we will add your email to the list.
Have a wonderful Easter break, travel safely if you are heading away or just enjoy a slower pace for a couple of days if you're staying home.
Kia pai to wiki

Give Mum the best gift this year…
Make this Mother’s Day a special one with a High Tea here at school! The Milestone Homes High Tea is an opportunity for our children and the significant females in their lives to come together and enjoy each other’s company.
This not-to-be-missed event will be held on Saturday, 8th May at 3pm in St Theresa’s Church Hall. High Tea will be served and we will have a guest speaker.
Tickets are $20 per person (non-refundable) and can be reserved by depositing the total amount to: St Theresa’s Catholic School Plimmerton 12-3254-0109325-000 with your child’s name and “High Tea” as the reference. Tickets can then be collected from the school office in the first week of Term 2.
There are limited tickets available so get in quick!
Unfortunately this event is not suitable for pre-schoolers and is limited to your children who attend St Theresa’s School.
