Mai i te Kopae ki te Urupa, tatou ako tonu ai - From the cradle to the grave, we are forever learning.
Kia ora koutou katoa St Theresa's whanau,
Welcome back everyone! What a beautiful day we had yesterday for our first day of Term 1, 2021. It was lovely to welcome the children back, with prayers and a blessing.
Fill our hearts with joy
Fill our minds with learning
Fill our classrooms with peace
Fill our lessons with fun
Fill our friendships with kindness
Fill our school with love
Amen.
Over the next couple of weeks we will be extra busy with our swimming instructors, beach picnic, Ash Wednesday Mass and a variety of other activities. Please keep an eye out on the commuity calendar, in the newsletter and through class emails for dates to be aware of.
It's been busy with the children getting used to being back in classrooms, with a more structured approach to the day. We have seen some tired little faces, so the long weekend is very timely.
Have a lovely Waitangi Day on Monday - hopefully the weather will be settled. There are many events and celebrations planned for Porirua on Monday down at Te Rauparaha Park. It's always a fun day out and an opportunity to enjoy good food and entertainment. Our very own Ainslie Allen will be performing on the main stage at 3.40p.m.
Kia pai tō rā whakatā
Donna
