Mai i te Kopae ki te Urupa, tatou ako tonu ai - From the cradle to the grave, we are forever learning.
Kia ora koutou katoa St Theresa's whanau,
With only just over 3 weeks to go until school finishes for 2020, we are moving at a very rapid pace to fit everything in!
It was great to see you all on Sunday as we celebrated our Parish/School Mass and thank you to all those who helped with the morning tea and sausage sizzle. The children read, sang and behaved beautifully and again, we were very proud of them all.
The children have been amazing supporting staff in preparing for our Junior block move and we are nearly there. Rooms 1,2,3 and 4 will be relocated from Monday to the Hall and Parish house and work will begin on our modernisation on Monday, 23 November. We expect to be back in the junior block in Term 2, 2021 however, we are resilient and flexible, so ready for anything. We will keep you posted along the way.
We are so very fortunate to be supported by Jocelyn and the Parish and this is a true example of us working together as a faith community.
The Year 5 and 6 children (and parents) are counting down the hours until camp. This is the first year we have had both year groups attend camp together. The weather looks good and we are sure everyone will have an awesome time.
Thank you to our wonderful Parents & Friends group. This is a fairly new group who have worked hard to re-vision their role over the last 6 months. They have run the Disco, co-ordinated Bubble Art prints, wine sales, entertainment books and are currently running the pizza lunches and the new initiative of mufti days. We are very grateful for the much needed funds this brings into the school and special thanks goes to Sarah Davies and Maria Gair for the hours of work they have put in setting up the new systems. The Parents & Friends are always looking for new members and guarantee you a few laughs with a great bunch of like-minded people.
Kia pai tō rā whakatā
Donna
