Donna McDonald - Principal's Note
Welcome to Term 3 everyone. It has been great to see the children settling back into school life so quickly and hearing some of their stories about places in New Zealand they visited for the first time. We are looking forward to a busy but more settled term of learning activities.
Thank you for continuing to support your children to develop their independence through the morning drop off. The children will continue to come to the gates after school this term, however you are very welcome to come in and meet them in the school grounds if you prefer.
Our Junior play area is nearly finished and it will be exciting to have the fences removed in the next couple of weeks so that the children can begin using this area as well. The new area is designed to complement the exisiting 'biggie' and is part of our whole school concept. Thank you again to everyone who has been part of the fundraising and planning for this area.
The designs for the Junior block have now gone out for tender, so this means we should hear details around a commencement date very soon. This project is funded through the Archdiocese of Wellington and comes from the Attendance Dues that are gathered from all Cathoilc students. Details around relocating those children who are affected are currently being worked on and we will be in touch with more details as they develop.
Have a wonderful weekend - the weather looks great for getting out and about. Enjoy any sports and activities you are involved in.

Gospel reading for Sunday, 26th July, 2020
In this Sunday’s Gospel, we are challenged to think about what is truly most valuable to us. We are called to make the Kingdom the most important thing in our lives. It is with God's grace that we will sacrifice our desires for unimportant things and accept the gift of God’s Kingdom in our lives.
