Dear Parent/Caregiver
I recently informed you that the NZEI Te Riu Roa would be holding a Paid Union Meeting for teachers at 1.30pm Thursday 25th March. Accordingly, I advised you that the school's teaching staff would be unavailable after 12.30pm.
NZEI Te Riu Roa has now informed the school that it is postponing these meetings until Term 2. This means that the afternoon of Thursday 25th March will revert to being a normal school day.
NZEI has apologised to the school for any inconvenience caused and has advised that the round of meetings for teachers will now be held between 26 April and 13 May.
NZEI has indicated that they will notify us of the actual date and time of the meeting in the near future. As soon as the school has details of when the actual meeting will occur, I will send that information on to parents, along with advice about arrangements at school for the day in question.
