
OFFICIAL OPENING AND BLESSING
OF NEW ADMNISTRATION BLOCK AND CLASSROOM

The sun shone and the day was warm when Archbishop John Dew blessed and opened the school's new Administration Block and classoom on 22nd Juy 2009.
Invited guests included Her Worship the Mayor of Porirua city, Jenny Brash, local Member of Parliament Hon. Winnie Laban, the Vicar for Education Jenny Gordon, the CEO of Catholic Schools Board Mary Naezor, and the Manager of Catholic Schools Michele Lafferty.
Special guests included Sisters Josepha and Catherine representing their order,the Sisters of St Joseph of Nazareth, who founded the school.
The photos below give you a sense of the wonderful occasion which is a significant moment in the life and history of the school, opened 60 years ago this year. It also gives you an idea of the glorious weather that God (and St Therese!) blessed us with.
