Let's help HUGO!

Hi, I'm Hugo, and I am 3 years old. I was born at 33 weeks and have Cerebral Palsy.

The type of Cerebral Palsy I have is called Spastic Quadriplegia, which for me means, that both my arms and legs are very tight and makes walking (and other things) really hard and painful for me to do the simplest of tasks.

Currently I have a wheelchair to get around in, but I really want to be just like all the others my age, and do all the simple things most people take for granted.

There is a surgery called Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR), which is unavailable in NZ, but performed at St Louis Children's Hospital in America. SDR is a surgery that reduces the tightness of muscles. I'm on the waiting list for a date in October 2017.

If I have the SDR surgery, it will help me function in a more natural normal way and will give me the hope of walking instead of being confined to a wheelchair. This will be life changing for me and my family.

My eldest brother Logan is in Room 1 and my other brother Oakley has started the preschool.

I currently have a give a little page open at present  and have my current movie fundraiser happening this coming school holidays.  We need a minimum of $130k to have the surgery scheduled for October this year.

Any donation will make a change for Hugo.
